Suzanne Runyon has been spending her summers in Searsmont, Maine, lakeside, literally -- since infancy.  These early and formative years of loving Maine life created a lifelong passion to live in Maine, and happily, Suzanne has realized that dream.

Having made the transition, Suzanne has now set her sights on beautifying and enhancing the spaces of her Mid-Coast Maine neighbors and clients; helping them to realize their dreams of creating great spaces to live in, in this great state of Maine. 

Prior to relocating to Maine, Suzanne honed and developed her design and home-enhancement skills as a licensed Realtor in Northern Virginia and as a women’s clothing boutique owner in the historic port city of Old Town Alexandria, VA. 

Now, as a fulltime Mainer, Suzanne is applying all her abilities in visual and special design working directly with homeowners-- looking to take their spaces to the next level of utility and beauty.

After two years working as kitchen and bath designer for a mid-size building company Suzanne decided to take the leap and launch DownEast Interior Design.  

 

Suzanne resides in Belfast, Maine, with her husband Dave and their adorable rescue beagle, “Olive”, and still spends many days lakeside, at her family Searsmont “camp”.
